Kalpana Chawla, the first Indian woman to explore space

What would it mean to have a space in Evanston dedicated to the ASPA community?

Did you know that there isn't, nor has there ever been, a space dedicated to the history, culture, education, support and celebration of the Evanston ASPA community?  Over 10% of Evanstonians identify as Asian, South Asian, Pacific Islander and ASPA is the fastest growing demographic nationwide.

We're doing some research to see what it would take to establish an ASPA Art & Cultural Center in Evanston and what a space like this would look like.  This is a tiny seed of an idea right now. We're just talking to people, gathering ideas, getting input and we'd love to hear from you!

If you're going to dream... dream big!
