The Umbrella Arts Festival is a cultural celebration of the Asian, South Asian,

Pacific Islander American community in Evanston.

The umbrella symbolizes the ASPA diaspora which includes a diversity of

ethnicities from over 40 countries around the world, and is inclusive of the

many intersections of identities that exist in our communities.

Umbrella Arts Festival 2021 (formerly ASPA Heritage Arts Festival)

In 2021 Evanston hosted its first Arts Festival celebrating Asian, South Asian, Pacific Islander heritage and culture on May 22, 2021 in Fountain Square.  We had over 350 attendees!  Check out these photos from that event...
