What is May Mart?
Inspired by the spirit of the ubiquitous street markets found in cities, towns and villages in Asian, South Asian and Pacific Islander countries around the world, May Mart is an invitation to experience the vibrant diversity of food, art, craft, trade, wares and services of Evanston’s ASPA business owners!
May is Asian, South Asian, Pacific Islander American (ASPA) Heritage Month and May Mart is our way of supporting local ASPA-owned businesses!
IN 2023 WE DID A MAY MART CHALLENGE!
The May Mart Challenge was a fun way to encourage community members to learn about and visit Asian-owned businesses in Evanston throughout the month of May - the more they visited the more chances they had to receive an E-Town Gift Card!

Take the May Mart Challenge!
You can pick up your May Mart Challenge postcards at participating locations. Scroll down for a list of of these businesses offering specials during the month of May. You can also print your own here.
The following are 3 easy steps to meet the challenge and be entered to win a $100 E-town gift card!
1) Visit 5 businesses participating in the May Mart challenge between May 1st and 31st
2) When you visit each business ask a staff person for a May Mart sticker
3) Once you've filled your postcard with 5 visits, take a photo and email it to evanstonaspa@gmail.com
Winner will be announced and contacted via email!
